A Construction Superintendent is responsible for providing day-to-day field leadership on two active projects: a historic renovation in Decatur, Michigan, and a church renovation and addition in Paw Paw, Michigan. The role involves overseeing subcontractors, managing schedules, ensuring safety compliance, conducting inspections, and maintaining quality control. As the on-site representative for the general contractor, the Construction Superintendent coordinates manpower and materials across both locations, maintains daily documentation, enforces OSHA and company safety standards, resolves field issues, and ensures all work aligns with project plans, specifications, and timelines. Strong communication, organization, and renovation experience are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple sites efficiently during the day shift.
ResponsibilitiesThe Construction Superintendent will work five days a week, from 7 AM to 4 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.27/hr.
